September 7–No school due to Labor Day
Reading: This week, our reading focus will be on the different types of literature genres. We will be taking a close look at mystery, realistic fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, folktales, autobiography, biography, and informational text.
Writing: The student were to bring their writer’s composition book home over the weekend. The students were to start decorating the inside cover of their composition book. We will begin using the composition books this week.
